Freddie van Rensburg

Freddie graduated with an honours degree in Sociology from the University of Johannesburg. Passionate about helping people, he furthered his studies during his 40’s, with a postgraduate counselling qualification through UNISA. He is a leading addictions and wellness practitioner and the author of two books : Life Anon and The First Layer. As witness to Amanda’s journey through blindness, he is committed to helping create a movement for better eye care for the people of the Western Cape and eventually all of South Africa.
